This will be for a small apartment and so I’m leaning 6 tons for size and do not need an external pump.

Is it easy enough to get consistent pressure from the 6-ton with use, or do you typically recommend the 10-ton? With bottle tech and the amounts I’ll be pressing (7g~), I’m pretty confident 6 tons will produce enough psi, so it’s really just the pressure reading I’m concerned with.

Thanks for reaching out! Regarding the pressure applied, it is not hard to get a feel for it. Usually, you will apply pressure on the jack until begin to see oil flowing, then you continue to slowly apply the pressure until either a) the color of the oil darkens considerably or b) the jack is now tight and applying further pressure requires a lot of effort.

I have found that most of our customers get a feel for pressing without any gauges in a matter of 1-2 presses.
